Hi All,
First post here but finally looking to move to an X5 from my '14 X3 35i M sport. There are a few 45e models within my radius and I'm debating whether to try to move on one now or at the end of '21. I would consider cash or financing depending on how the numbers worked out. MSRP for one in stock is around 77k with nearly the exact options I would build. A few questions: (1) I have an initial goal of trying to get to around 70 or 71 pre-incentives. is this feasible? The "e-price" provided was 72.9 when I emailed for more info. (2) For financing my understanding is there is a 2500 APR credit and x5 is eligible for 0.9%? Military and loyalty are stackable with this, correct (I understand military is 500 rather than 3250 when financing)? (3) Is there a cash purchase incentive on the X5 right now? if so is that stackable with military? Thank you! Hoping to join the X5 group here soon |

Milano -- I'm in the market for something very similar (almost the same MSRP even) -- which dealer did you go to?

How do you guys go about these conversations with the dealers? Do you just throw out a price you dont expect to get (Eg "I want to pay <price>" and price is some unrealistic number like 15% off)? Or do you just plainly say, "look, I'll sign today at 10% off"? I realize every dealer is different, but I'm curious.

36 months / 10,000 mile lease Multiple Security Deposit (MSD): 7 Residential zip code: ##### Existing BMW in household? No I then collate all the ones who provided actual responses into an Excel sheet to determine the best deal. For those who request to speak on the phone, I politely respond saying email communication is preferable for the time being and if they don't agree, then they'll get ignored---I rather not get follow-up calls if I don't pursue business with them. |

Normally once I have the "online price", I make sure to have at least one and ideally two other offers to give me a ballpark. I then go back to the one I want and use the other two offers to try to get them to the number I want. Sometimes I might embellish how good the other offer is a little if I think it will help me negotiate. My finding is as long as you are direct, have a competitive offer from someone else, and are negotiating aggressively-but-realistically it's a win for both you and the dealer. The dealer doesn't mind not making top dollar on every single sale if you are efficient about it. Your sale counts just as much in their volume numbers and they know if you're happy then you will be back. |

So Cal Offers
So California has historically been an incredibly aggressive car market, but on my latest hunt for an X5 deal, the absolute best discount off MSRP was 8.5%, and that was a huge stretch for most dealers.
The fact that some of you are seeing 10% off MSRP on the East Coast is pretty incredible... |

Just put in an order for a '21 45e today at 7.6% off MSRP before incentives, just shy of 10% with incentives.
I imagine its so hard to find a deal in California on the 45e's is because of the HOV lane access. |

Does anyone know if you can find out when your car will be delivered or where it's at when "In Transit" status?

Your dealer should have that info. MyBMW order tracking doesn't have the details as to carrier or transit time.

Can anybody tell me what types of discounts you are seeing in Texas (Dallas) off MSRP for a 40i?
Willing to buy or lease, whatever is better. Also, does BMW allow you to lease a demo? |

Perhaps others have had more luck, but most wouldn't do better than 5% (if they even responded). I eventually was able to get 7.6% before incentives. |

Just set up my BMW account. was hoping to track build on car. The BMW website is unclear how to monitor build. Do you do it from BMW personal account or where? Finally got a VIN from dealer after 3 weeks from deposit. Did anybody else have a long wait for VIN from dealer? Would like to track build any insight is appreciated !!!!!!!!!!
