Extended Warranty

I wanted to get some fresh updates going on what kind of extended warranties folks are purchasing for their new X5s. I understand these are highly negotiable and I’d love to hear what people paid and whether they bought official BMW or third party.

Also interested. Usually there's someone affiliated with a dealer who sells warranties on forums at unbeatable prices.

My only advice is to remember you can shop around.

After a pretty miserable experience with my dealer's finance department, I reached out to Golffrr and was directed to his finance manager at Steve Thomas. DM me if you want contact info. She was great.

FWIW, it was a good experience with no haggle pricing for forum members - Platinum 7yr/100,000 @ $4300 (two months ago). My dealer was at $5900 for the same and when I pushed, tried to move me into a 3rd party warranty for not a lot less.
