I'm in northern California. I got the "awaiting carrier assignment" on the 19th. It's supposed to be at the Vehicle Distribution Center tomorrow, the 4th, according to the Genius. I don't know where that is or how long from then it will take to get to the dealer. I'm expecting I won't get it until next week. I ordered it 8/31.

Thanks. I'm in the SF Bay Area. I spoke to genius yesterday and they also told me that my vehicle should be at the distribution center tomorrow on the 4th as well. I noticed my website status was updated to day to Dispatched from Factory today. So it sounds like they may be trying to get a bunch of northern california cars on the same Nov 4th carrier? The genius told me to check in tomorrow and they might have a more detailed timeline...

Mine was dispatched from Factory yesterday too. My CA called this morning to say that the car is already at VPC and should be at the dealer 11/7 or 11/9. I'm in upstate NY

It took 4 days from dispatch to arrival, and another day for dealer to prepare the delivery.

Mine only took 4 days from SC to NY dealer, but i saw normally only 2 days.

Update: spoke to the BMW Genius today and update is that my car left the factory yesterday by rail and it should take 12 days before it reaches the vehicle distribution center and then prepped and a few more days to ship via truck to the dealer and then dealer prep. Basically it sounds like 3 weeks or so after the vehicle is dispatched from the factory for folks in the SF Bay Area.
