So....an invisible air filter, in addition to an (apparently) almost invisible eyeliner for the headlights for 2021. Bold moves, BMW, bold moves. I can't think of anything more you could have done to improve the model line.

Yesterday's post:

Two Small New Additions for Spring 2021 Models
https://www.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh...php?p=27167126

From my prior post:

BMW Press Club Global
https://www.press.bmwgroup.com/globa...of-spring-2021

Also 2021 spring update has not been posted for USA, so while nice these may not make it to our market just like the M Multi-function seats.

These kind of updates are a relief considering the heavy handed restyling BMW has been doing.

I wonder if the nano filter is in response to the virus in some way. I know that I appreciate how well the cabin filter works in my car when we drive past smelling areas. On a certain drive I do, I drive within a half mile of a very smelly town dump and I've learned to close the windows when I get a couple miles from it and I can drive all the way past it without the methane rotten egg fart smell. I rolled the window down once just to be sure it still stunk - oh yeah, that was a mistake.

Thing is though, all bets are off once you stop and have to open the door to get out!

The particle filter is an interesting one, but as far as the individual shadowline headlights, it makes sense as they are trying to standardize this option across all models. We've already seen it on the new M3/M4. Another way to make some $$$!

Damning with faint praise. How 'bout we bring back IAS, or Night Vision, or full leather, or B&W, or Alcantara, BMW, for new models? I'll trade you one of those, for a HEPA filter and black plastic around the lights....
