Dealer having fun with my Car. Dashcam Caught

Here are few clips added together on my dealership having some fun I guess with my whip. On oil service requested, a few unnecessary revs but I know my adviser for 10 years now, so all good I guess

Either full watch it or don't. lol Just don't skip parts.
One guy said, m50 puaaa and is this car tune. lol

Added another video of the sound from outside.

FYI.. .. the car will not even try to measure the oil level unless it's at full operating temp, meaning the oil temp. It does in fact take a bit of driving to get it to that temp. I just changed my oil so it's fresh in my mind. I had to take mine around the block several times before the car would start the measurement. You can simulate this yourself when first getting in the car in the morning and asking it to measure the oil level and then see how far you have to drive before it actually starts the measurement

These cars have dipstick, so no need to measure it from the idrive.
Even if that's the case, there is no need to revs. Did you even watch the full video or just skipped, lol. There some fun stuff also said from one of the guy that drive the cars in and out.

Sorry, overlooked the fact it was not a 40i. Yeah, I watched it all. I got a kick of the tech who stood there and kept staring at it after the guy in the white shirt parked it and went into the building. Just wondering what he was thinking.

I think driving the car a bit make sure oil is flowing, and at operation temperature is also needed for oil change. So the drive before is OK. yes, the Rev is not justifiable, but damn, you have nice exhaust. Cannot blame them too much. The test drive post oil change is also part of the routine, so it is OK IMO.

On both drives, they mainly drive around parking lot, right?

Is it tuned to crackle like that all the time or is it just more noticeable with your exhaust?

No tune for crackles, normal with the mods below on sport plus.
Race Chip Black GTS
AA catted Downpipes
Resonator Delete
Flaps always open

If you did tune it, it makes sense. If not, I am surprised. At every BMW dealer near me, at the service dept it is common to see X5MC and others. An M50i is very common. But they do tend to drive it around to test it…from what I can tell.

They had an i8 in the service bay as well. Your X5 does look 👍

I’ve caught my dealership do the same. They even flat out say to me how great the car sounds and they wish they could just floor it all day long. Not very professional

I mean it tune with RC, but that's the lease admiration on this video. If you see the video its was all about exhaust sound and crackles, which come from AA catted downpipe, resonator delete and flaps open. And this is not a very common x5 per the look and sound.

Car looks menacing for sure. Those pops remind me of someone randomly banging on a metal garbage can lid lol

It could be, it notables in sport plus but not so much in sport standard or comfort. So I can chose when to hear them. And nothing I cant really do if i want to remove them as its not a tune thing, it comes from downpipes and no resonator.
