Help - What can I do to correct the CEL after Catted DP?

So I had my Evolution Racewerks catted DP professionally installed last week and I installed the Racechip GTS black prior to the DP. All seemed well before the DP install.

Had the DP installed professionally and all was well until yesterday when I sprung the CEL. Car drives normal, Racechip is functional. In theory I should not throw the CEL correct?

How do I get rid of the code? I thought having Racechip at same time would prevent the code? Is there some sort of process or something I should have done? How do I get rid of the code now?

RaceChip or any piggyback will do nothing to eliminate a CEL, only a true flash tune can do that. You can try the “CEL Delete Kit” or O2 spacers and see if that helps. I have no experience with them personally.

What code is it throwing? Related to catalyst or some other malfunction?

I'd hit up r33_RGSport (RG Sport) or whomever you bought them from and seek some guidance. I'm sure they have seen this before if they sell the products.

What software needs to be installed to do this remotely with just an enet obd2 cable? I thought all post 6/2020 DME's were OBD locked from any sort of flash programming.

Sorry youre running into this issue! Ive had absolutely no trouble with my Active AutoW catted DP’s, perhaps the raceworks are using cheaper cats? Maybe there was some small debris in them when installed??

I just installed a MIL delete kit to get rid of cel code because I installed catless downpipes on my car.

So I used BimmerLink and erased the CEL. This was this past Saturday the 22nd October. I've driven the card pretty extensively over the weekend in the city so added maybe about 200 miles. So far no CEL.
My plan is to drive it like this for at least another week, check the codes once again, and if all is well, I will re-enable Racechips. (currently turned off)

And it's back. Keeps coming back after a few days when I've cleared it. I installed an O2 spacer in hopes to get rid of it, now seems I get the following error:
12B701 - Heating Lambda probe2 bank1, function: internal resistance too high.

With DPs it pays to do your research. For the B58, either the AA or CG DS-1 are the ones that generally don't trigger a CEL.

I have the CG DS-1 and still get the CEL. But only when it's hot outside, like 75 or above. Fortunately that only happens 3 months out of the year in the PNW...lol

I managed to get the LEIB CEL Delete installed by a tech. CEL gone
Def was an adventure.
Now I need an isolated road in Austin to do my Dragy run.

That's odd. I regularly run my car in weather much hotter than that without issue.
