2023 X7 M60i wheels on a 2022 X5 M50i

Wanted to ask for support on this.

I have a 23 x7 M60i and wanted to try on this cars wheels on my 2022 x5 M50i.

Is this possible or are they too big?

X7 wheels are:

22" MV-spoke Jet Black Light Aloy Wheels, Style 755M with Mixed RFT

Front tires: 275/40 R22 XL

Rear tires: 315/35 R22 XL

X5 wheels are:

20" M Star-spoke bi-color wheels, style 740M with all-season

So basically the X5 has 20 inch wheels.

X7 has 22 inch wheels and they are staggered, rears are wider than fronts.

Photos of both cars are attached here.

Wanted to take the 22 inch wheels off my X7 and put them on my X5.

Is this possible?

Pros ?

Cons ?

I added another couple photos of both Xs for reference.

Hey there… yes this is possible. A few members are running X7 22” tire sizes and one of them specifically (DKNICK ) has them installed and even lowered with no issues. He’s also using 747M’s in cerium gray which are the same as the wheels on your X7 except yours are black. Here are some links for you:

you should be fine as those sizes are the same (I think) for the OEM X5 22 wheels.

The X7 22” tire sizes are slightly taller than the OEM 22s on the G05, but to your point, will fit OP’s X5

You should be able to use the existing X5 lug nuts with the 22’s.
