BMW won't recognize BMW formatted music - SOLVED!
I have 105 CDs, loaded directly from the CD player in my 2016 340i... and saved onto a USB stick.
Plugged in my BMW-formatted USB into my new car, and... "No media was found". What's going on? What do I do? I know the music is on there...

You can't play "BMW Formatted" music directly from a USB since it is just a backup. You need to restore the music to the hard drive.
