Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone knows if the roof spoiler from the new x5m will fit seamlessly to the regular x5 g05? I think the spoiler is more aggressive on the x5m.

Maybe I can just order the piece prepainted from dealer and have them replace.

Thoughts? Anyone from bmw tech?

I ask today on my dealer. He need to know some VIN number of F95 and then he can try to fit it to G05

I gave this some thought for my M50i but came to the conclusion that it's a daft idea. M car parts only belong on M cars. Hopefully they will launch an M performance spoiler for the normal X5s.

I asked today and they will not have roof spoiler from MPerformance to G05

Doesn't surprise me sadly. I think I'll stick with stock and maybe wrap/spray it gloss black at the top.

But the M performence roof spoiler was presented!

At least I saw already pictures, in Real oem is already the spoiler there, unfortunately no part number for now.

I think the stock m spoiler looks more fluid and natural than the add on m part. Unfortunately I don’t have a f95 vin. Any luck anyone?

F95/96 parts are not available yet on the usual, RealOEM or Bimmercat, online BMW parts catalog sites. Or you could send an inquiry to your dealer parts center.

Three weeks BMW time is usually 6 months. Don’t expect much from them.

I'm assuming it is body colored based on looking at other Ms. Did you give them your color code? Also assuming that for non-M color cars like my Arctic Grey...we'd be out of luck or have to paint.

That image makes it look like its one color...versus glass black under body color.

The rear roof spoiler (10) is primed and needs to be painted - same with the shadowline aeroblade underneath (9)

The shadow line underneath has same code with one from the g05, i also asked 1 week ago, but they are not available yet to order. I hope they would be soon.
