Sadly, it seems we're stuck with a single floating rear caliper for the foreseeable future on most BMW cars. Hell, look at the new 8 series, electronic parking brake means you get a single floating rear caliper when it comes to BMW.

You can never have too much power, especially in a large heavy all wheel drive suv which can barely move compared to sedans and coupes.

Ha!! I think the "ears" on the mirrors are equally as hideous on all the M models.

Not sure why. It's an easy fix and has nothing to do with an electronic parking brake.

It works in real life better than photographs.
The side characterline is a Hommage to the very first X5 The E53.

Hi Scott, thanks for the taking the time to reply. The E53, E70, and F15 all have straight character lines but I can see the inspiration from the E53 rear fender. Will have to wait to see the new X5 in person.
