My X5 is on order and I am doing a lot of reading. I tried my Note 8 for size on my test drive. Now, I understand cars with heated and cooling cup holders have the tray horizontal vs others that are vertical.
Does anyone know the dimensions of the horizontal tray?
This would be a real bummer if it does not fit.

Note 9 fits exactly in an Otterbox Defender case horizontally.

Note 9 is slightly smaller than Note 8. I have a much smaller case, so it will work fine.

Should be good to go - looks like a 0.5mm difference in length, and width shouldn't be an issue.
