Hi Gents, opened this thread to include order date, production date and delivery date....

mine shall arrive at the Austrian Dealer at 8 April 2020; however, they will hand it out to me only upon 1 May 2020 as this is the official Austrian (and I think also European) market launch

Anyone aware of any production start: my dealer told me that production starts in December 2020 - any news on that?

I sure hope that you're wrong, i've signed for an x5m, production in february, delivery early march. Signed just because early delivery, could be $192k out of the window, if u're right.

Which Country, USA? Me ordered on 1 August 2019, car will be a HEA = dealer first equipped, price EUR 197k

I tought that our prices were crazy... HEA here too, I'm in the EU, I was told that the car should be handed over by march/april.

Placed the order mid October this year.

In middle east, orders are still not open yet. BMW told me the order will be open on April the delivery will be on June 2020

Ordered a marina bay blue with ivory white today. Production begins February 2020 with delivery expected in late March or in April 2020. Ordered in Florida.

My Sales Manager told me there aren't any allocations in the United States yet. Did you get an actual allocation with a production number, or is your order in the order bank waiting for an allocation?

Yep, same. It is my understanding there have been no allocations issued for the US yet.

On a separate but related note, what sort of impact will the new recall issued for the M5/M8/X5M/X6M have on the release of US allocations and/or production runs for the 2020 X5M/X6M? If any.

How can new BMW X5M or X6M be affected from that issue? I thought they have not been produced yet, or?

That was my first reaction too, but the official press release from BMW listed the X5Ms produced between June 6, 2019 - November 27, 2019 as affected vehicles. Since these models haven’t started production in the US yet, I’m not sure how the recall actually affects them. That is why I’m asking. Because the M8 and M5 which have been produced share similar (or the same) engine and transmission parts (presumably including the faulty wiring harness), does this recall set back the future production process for us on the F95?

No actual allocation yet. They think they will get them sometime in December

That was super easy fix so I don't think that will effect the X5/6M

Same here in Austria - except for the HEA (dealers first equipped) which I pre-ordered on 1.8.2019 and which will come End of April 2020 👍

Sorry for my bad English, but what do you guys mean always with "allocation"? Do you mean "ordering" and if yes why you have to wait for your dealer?? Please clarify, many thanks and all the best from Vienna

Don't worry about English!

Many of us are from different countries including mine self. Born in Wien/ Austria ( Landsmann )

Dealerships needs to get allocation first before they can place a order. Some dealerships get one or more allocations. Some don't get any, which means they have to wait before placing a order in system.
