Thank you! Shouldn't be too bad. The only delay should be taking Performance Center Delivery so most likely 1st or 2nd week of November.

Nice build congrats! I order 2021 X6 M50i. Mine is just got assigned a carrier yesterday. Do you plan on tuning it at all? I had plans to have mine tuned by a Noelle Performance dealer. I called them to let them know I'll have the vehicle to them at the end of the month and they told me that for all 2021 BMWs, BMW has locked everyone out. If you plan to tune yours let us know how that goes.

Congrats again

I don't. The dealers flag it immediately in DCS (BMWs internal system) and having spent enough time working for a large BMW store I know what happens. Aftermarket "Warranties" mean nothing as these companies will do everything possible to avoid responsibility. The dealership (really BMW NA) have an easy out as you tuned an engine that was built to safe tolerances. Then problem is not so much the engine but it's the other components, rear diff, wastegates, and transmissions. Good luck. I'm just not willing to take a risk with an already impressive vehicle.

And, like X5MFiddy said, tuner "warranties" are more/less bogus - they're more appropriately called tuner-insurance and, if they ever cover anything, it'll only be for those things the tuner believes are tune related while the rest of your BMW warranty is blown.

Thus, unless you're willing to self-insure the BMW warranty it seems like a big risk before the BMW warranty is up. And I'd add to X5MFiddy point: even if the dealer doesn't flag your tune, it doesn't mean BMWNA won't deny warranty work... and once that happens the odds of getting your warranty back are close to 0%.

(and I'll add the odds of Noelle having their own insurance should they get hit with a bunch of claims is zero - so any tuning "warranty" should be discounted to $0)

You will love it... similar to my spec, I'm about 1400 miles in. I got ivory interior and opted for 21" over 22".

Driving it on sport mode with DSC off at least once / day, engine sounds so good and is so responsive.

VERY nice build. It makes me SO angry that 2021 M50i buyers get Carbon interior trim and red brakes.

Every time I see a new 2021 model with those features.... I want to go punch my salesman.... LOL

Looking forward to seeing this one.

I have been doing my research and reading the forums for tuning ideas. After digging into noelle and hammering them with questions. I wouldn't take my power wheels to them for a battery charge.

Nice build. Are you buying or leasing? If buying, did you talk to your dealer about price yet? Did you get anything off MSRP? I'm about to order the X5 M50i for the wife and I'm trying to get some info for negotiating the price.

There are definitely some states that are better for discounts and some that are worse. 10% should be possible, but you might need to go out of state.

Nope. Worked there for 15 years. I knew they wouldn't go that deep. Great team there just not willing to go below invoice which I completely understand.

Great team indeed, was a shame I couldn't work a deal with them.

The two local dealers I've bought from are both great dealers, but same thing, they weren't willing to go over 6% off. Maybe if I kept on checking multiple dealers and pitted them against each other, but it was much easier going with a broker.

Agreed. The model has changed and some dealers have figured it out.

Years ago it was the $500 over invoice before incentives that was considered the good deal, but the concept of invoice has been really distorted over the years. Invoice no longer really means anything, since the data is so widely available everywhere for everyone to look like. I'm sure the formulas will switch again in the future.

The savvier customer reading this forum, and others, will have the upper hand with a good deal. And this customer will also tend to order heavier cars, so it tends to be not as much of a loss to the dealer. The broker concept has really exploded, and going through the process now with one, it truly has made it an easier experience.
