Ordered X5 M50i
Finally joined the G05 club and placed an order.
X5 M50i Arctic Gray Coffee extended merino Fineline stripe Executive package Parking assistance Driving assistance Heated front seats, steering wheel, armrests Front massaging seats Extended shadowline trim Just got the production number, so unsure of the build week yet. I went back and forth on the color combo. First thought of tartufo and brown metallic ash trim, but after seeing some of the pictures, I changed my mind. The last time I had an X5 was back when I got an E70 around 2008, which was actually my first BMW. Then got three 5 Series in a row and was ready for a change. Drove the M50 at the UDE event and knew I needed that V8 power back. While disappointed that I can't do another European delivery, and not even bothering with a PCD this year, still very excited and can't wait. |

Great build. Did you consider the Dynamic Handling Package? I find it makes a big difference in the handling. Also, might want to consider the $150 compact spare. I mistakenly didn't order one and have big regrets because it's about $900 to add afterwards. |

It depends on what wheels you order. It is included with the 21s and 22s but $150 for others.

I did consider DHP. You can only tick so many options.

Leasing, 10% off through a broker. In either case, leasing or financing, the same discounts should apply.

Just saw it has started production! Originally scheduled for week 49, so I'd imagine an early December delivery.

Nice! I put my order in on 10/20 also, and was told I was scheduled for week 49 as well. But as of this morning, I am still in "Scheduled for Production". Boo.

Starting to get a bit jealous! My Week 49 is still "Scheduled for Production" as of this morning. Have I mentioned that patience isn't my strong suit?

Getting the status on the Genius line revealed that my car is scheduled for productions on Monday. Being on the east coast and near the VDC should result in a pretty quick delivery.
