The NHTSA site seems accurate. I used it for my week 20 build.

I placed my order for the 50e on December 7th at my dealer in Atlanta Georgia. Monitoring using the f12 process, I still have no VIN and I'm still status code 111. Good luck to the rest of you.

What does Genius say the build week is?

182 awaiting carrier assignment this morning. Funny that proddate was updated from 4/29 -> 4/30. I'm hoping the transportation to California can be this efficient lol.

I am at status 182 awaiting carrier assignment as well. Mine doesn't have to go as far - only to Dallas so thinking maybe I get it later this week?

Congrats! I remember Turtleboy said it's much sooner (within days) if it's moved by trucks but California can take 2-3 weeks by trains. I guess the trains must be really slow.. I had shipped a car from east coast to California several years ago and it only took 3 days by truck.

I placed my order December 7th. I just called Genius today. They're telling me week 22 production which is May 27nd but in reality between production, testing and shipping I'm into the first week of July before I receive it.
Holy smokes! I'm seriously thinking about pulling my down payment and looking elsewhere. Darn.

You got some very bad information if your location is correct in showing Georgia. You should receive it a few days after it is built.

My 50e just moved to QC, production code 155. So far so good. Looks like it will be done by tmrw, 5/1. Now hoping for good May incentives.

You're right Turtleboy, my dealer is only about 3 hours south of the manufacturing facility in Spartansburg South Carolina. The genius hotline person told me they moved me back to week 22, and then it takes them two to four weeks to produce and test the vehicle, and then up to 3 weeks to ship it, which puts me out into early July. That's quite a long time since I ordered it from my Atlanta dealer December 7th last year. Frustrated! Maybe I should call Genius again and see if I get a different agent.

Bill, that still doesn’t make sense. That Production week is when your vehicle is produced and built. So for those of us with Week 18 builds (Apr 29 to May 5), we should be getting our cars finished this week (unless there is some QC or part shortage).

I also ordered in Dec so feel your frustration. For those in Europe, 3 weeks after production makes sense but not if you are 3 hours away from the plant. So if Genius says Week 22, then you should get your car at the end of May/Early Jun. Try another Genius but a Week 22 should mean the car is produced that week.

My X5 moved from 182 on Monday 4/29 to 190 on Tuesday 4/30 (Dispatched from factory). My dealer said it's scheduled for delivery on 5/6, but he's been seeing them come in much sooner. I'm roughly 15hrs from the plant in Spartanburg, SC.

Finally moved to from 150 to 153 today so getting closer, but still at least 6 weeks given sending it to me here in the UK. 50e in tanzanite below.

My 50e has switched to status 182 - Awaiting Carrier Assignment (was in QC at this time yesterday). Hoping that I'll be able to pick it up by next weekend.
