Yes it is possible. Go for it.

Found my perfect 20x9 set

I was searching for a second set of wheels for my 2025 X5 50e which comes with the 740M set on all 4 corners. I found these guys on eBay, but ended up ordering my wheels direct from OEM Wheel Exchange and got what I found to be the best deal. They shipped them extremely well packed, by FedEx, and they arrived one day earlier than expected.

These are 20x9, 5x112, +35 offset (to allow for the M Sport brakes) and the correct bore size for my vehicle. I’ll mount the factory tires on these for use starting in spring, and put a set of new Bridgestone Blizzaks on the factory wheels for our northeast U.S. winters.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Another forum member warned me about scammers in the Facebook Marketplace groups, and boy were they RIGHT!! I asked one to place a handwritten note on the wheels they were showing me. They actually photoshopped a note on top of stock photos. Fortunately for me, the shadows didn’t match and I picked it up. Don’t buy on Facebook, even if there are supposed “reference” posts claiming completed sales.

Ran the XB7 23” Alpina’s with stock Pirelli P Zero tires this summer.
Taking them off today and putting on the BMW stock all black 742’s with Pirelli Winter tires on for the winter season.
(FYI I’ve posted the Alpina’s for sale if anyone is interested!)

742m’s with w/ P-zero’s. With air suspension, the ride is great.
