Never purchased as BMW interiors are easy to maintain. I give my ivory white/night blue interior a wipe down once a month and use a Swifter duster once a week or once every two.

I have a couple of supplies: - BMW leather care set with UV protection: includes 8fl oz of leather lotion, 3 sponges, 3 polishing towelettes - BMW leather care wipes: 10 wipes per pack About a week after delivery, use care wipes to quick cleaning followed by application of the leather care set with UV protection on all leather surfaces. Reapply every 4-6 months as needed. Weekly or every other week maintenance, I use the leather care wipes or microfiber towel with GYEON Quartz leather cleaner. You can also use your favorite interior leather cleaner like Chemical Guys, Lexol, Griotts, etc.

The reason why I never use any products on leather surfaces is because I'm afraid they will turn the clean, matte look and feel into a glossy surface (like when you use those ArmorAll wipes. But it looks like that's not the case with the products you mentioned?

Definitely not the case with Lexol. The cleaner and their conditioner make the leather look great. Also seems like it's softer after I apply it.

I went the Gyeon Leather Shield route so I could get longer term protection. The stuff is awesome. It was easy to apply. It is hydrophobic, so the fluids actually bead on the surface. It is that waterproof. It is matte finish as well which I love. Really pleased with this stuff.

Personally, I prefer to use KochChemie's products to take care of my car's interior. Like those two on the photo attached. However, it's a bit problematic to purchase these products in the US.

Thanks for all of the info. I’ve used chemical guys before and while I liked their conditioner, I was less impressed with the cleaner. I may give Lexol a shot.

If you're looking for cleaning products (leather and much, much more), I'd suggest taking a look at Griot's Garage (https://griotsgarage.com). I've used their leather cleaning/conditioning products since I had my E70. Very happy with them...
I don't think they're a sponsor out here, but they are a partner/advertiser with the BMWCCA. (That's how I was introduced to them...) In fact, shopping their website can be a bit addictive. (Why yes, I could really use a curved brush to clean my rims!) |

I actually did purchase Perma Plate on my G06 that I bough in late March, 2020. I hadn't purchased this sort of protection in the past, but because I wanted to do some Xpel (PPF) on the front 1/3 - 1/2 of the vehicle, I got a better deal by doing both and so I went ahead and did it. No idea if it was worth it yet...Really won't know until I have a claim and I'd prefer I never do! |

If your leather is generally always in good condition, is there a need to purchase their cleaner and conditioner? Can you get away with their Leather Quick Care product?

My F15 had extended mocha nappa leather and during the 3 years of ownership (lease), I only used cleaning wipes, swifter duster and the nappa leather interior and dash was in excellent condition - my front passenger and rear seats looked brand new, perk for being single LOL.
