Same! I’m curious about this myself. Does it leave that area exposed like it it’s shown in that picture? Otherwise it looks great! Can’t even tell it’s an overlay. Thanks for posting pics!

The kit includes pieces for the silver also. I just decided not to use them.

It fits great. In the pic it wasn’t taped down yet and we had just driven the car to see how it looked. Wanted to make sure we liked it.

Looks great. Please post final pics once you've taped them in place. We have the black wood trim and I'm trying to decide if carbon is the way to go or leave as is.

I am too ocd to deal with the minor imperfections. The bmw is so nicely put together that it seems a shame to use aftermarket adhesive all over it.

I may reach out and ask if he'll just sell me this piece. I rather like the matte poplar and would be really worried about sticking something on top of it as it seems a bit fragile.
