Its the tires, when I had my 2017 X6M it came with Pirelli and rode like crap, switched to Michelins and it was like a whole different car. My 2021 came with these dreaded Pirellis, I haven't had a chance to swap to Michelin yet.

I agree with this. None of my BMWs had this issue but both of my Lexus LX had this issue when they were new. Tire swap along with suspension settling in fixed the issue both times.

My 2017 X5M, and 2020 X5M track fine, well beyond 100mph too. My wifes 2020 X7 tracks fine as well, and no issues on our sons 2020 X3M Comp either. I'd say this problem is isolated to your vehicle/use case, not the vehicle design itself.

Now with over 3500 miles on my F95 it still drives fine on the highway as did my F85. Went on a 1000 mile road trip and i did not notice it driving any different from any of my previous BMW's (non M's and M's). One thing worth mentioning is that my car came with Pzeros and they don't feel as good as the PS4S I have on the car now. Pzeros has that run flat feel where it skips and hops over bumps. PS4S does none of that.

I feel that with pzeros the car just doesn't "track" straight, as if every road imperfection is pulling the car in every which direction. When I had my 2017, the first year I had p-zeros, and then I had winter tires installed in the winter, and once that winter was over and I pot p-zeros back on the car rode worse than it did with winter tires. Put on Michelins and it was like a whole different car, enormous difference.

I have had Michelins since day 1 and replaced all 4 this summer. Still wanders without minor corrections. Am going to have to take a ride in a new one on the highway and see for myself.
