Increased steering effort - X5MC LCI

Hi Guys,
so I was parking my car at the mall yesterday and the car suddenly starting shaking. The steering wheel was vibrating and wouldn't stop, it became heavy and would take some effort to move. Got the following message (attached, video below)

https://youtube.com/shorts/QFxHPK43DMw?feature=share

After I switched off the car the message went and it drove normally.
The car is 5 months new and with 9,200 kms on it (approx 5,700 miles).
I'm taking it to the dealer today, just wanted to see if anyone had similar issues and what is the solution?

Update:
my dealer had to place an order for the power steering unit. The bad news, there is no part availability at BMW Germany and it looks like it's going to be a long wait. I asked if I could have the car back meanwhile, they said driving the car will compromise the steering performance and could be considered a safety risk.
It's been two weeks now, and looks like I won't be receiving the car for another 10 days at least.
Bummed is an understatement.

LCI seems to have introduced a whole slew of new issues for some reason. I've seen quite a bit on the normal X5 section.

Yeah… knock on wood..our 2022 X3 M40i His had zero issues and we’ve put 30,000+ miles on it up-and-down mountain trails all kinds of stuff and zero problems.. not sure why X5 X7 seem problematic. We going back to Lexus soon. Wife wants the new Lexus GX 550 Overland.
