Same. That and price increase and cost reductions for BMW with the ridiculous interior. My $ is going elsewhere whenever the wheels fall off my preLCI

Definitely a step backwards.
Are you sure? I have a 2022 X5MC. It weighs about 5450 pounds. This is like 40 more pounds?

I thought they were around 5100, because I made fun of the i4 M50 when it came out weighing as much as the X5M at the time.

I see sky lounge as an option. That was not available in the USA on previous X5M models.

That is incorrect - the pre-LCI X5M's curb weight was 54xx.

This is from the bmw usa site regarding the 2023 model. I still can't believe what it can do considering the weight.

Agree. Still one of the better looking designs they have done. The proportions are nice.

Seems like they did pork up quite a bit after 2020, as it was 5093 then.

Yeah, seemed the 2020 model was quite a bit lighter, which is what I was going off of at the time.

I had its little brother, the X3MC, and it was a riot. Caught a lot of people off-guard.

Love the exterior updates! Obligatory still not sold on the LCI interior comment… HVAC vent controls look like robot nipples and lack of physical buttons is a deal breaker.

The carbon buckets take a bit of finesse to get in and out of on a car, don’t think it would be a fun experience on an SUV.

At least we seem to be getting back the option for self-leveling air ride. With a Stealth hitch this will be back on the menu for me.

As others have mentioned seems like a step back with the LCI models. That’s seems to be the trend of late.

Not really a huge change from pre LCI . I guess it was hard to improve the X5M. I just wanted a somewhat better interior and maybe more wheel choices but the brought back the old wheel design and really only changed the dash. It’s still a great machine but I think I’ll wait on the new M5. 👍🏽

Id7 was perfect. Still
Sort of is. What can id8 do that 7 couldn’t? Oh that’s right… eventually charge you for options!

The future of bmw revenue is rolling out options…
