Oh I’m specifically talking about this intake lol only thing I’ll be confident enough to install in a hotel parking lot Saturday night before the event lol

Spoke with Bilal (co-founder) of Eventuri at Mpact today. Right now intakes are in final stages and he’s expecting a release in about 3 weeks. Pricing is estimated at around $2500.

He showed me some sound clips and additional photos on his phone and the induction sound is just amazing. You can hear the induction sucking air and turbo spoolin much better now compared to competitor intake such as the dinan system.

I thought the rubber seal at the rear of the motor would have to be cut to accommodate the rear facing inlets. He said a new piece is included in the kit. It will connect the rear inlets into the conical filter.

New CF engine cover is included due to the size of the Eventuri air box.

This may have been answered already but will this intake (and/or the Dinan) cause a CEL? Specifically coupled with Full Akra and secondary cat delete, plus RC GTS black?

Obviously I do not know for sure. But I am going to assume it will not cause any CEL's to activate nor will the vehicle need to be tuned for it to provide a small degree of performance gain.

I have GTS black, Akra system, Dinan mid pipe and Dinan intakes and no CEL on my car

I’m not a rocket scientist by any means, so correct me if I’m wrong haha, but I believe the engine (in this case the turbos) will only suck in as much air as it needs. So really depends on the operating requirements for optimal function of the engine. What the benefits of the intake will be in most cases are colder, more direct, less turbulent, and higher available volume of air. Thus, making it easier for the turbos/engine to reach the PSI they are calling for quicker and feeding marginally cooler air. So in short, we aren’t cramming more air into the vehicle than what it already wants. We are just making it easier to get the juice it needs.
Again, anyone can correct my simple minded thoughts if I’m wrong, or have a gross misunderstanding. 😁
