This steering doesn't have the heating element in it so it will not heat-up.

I'm not 100% sure but that should have nothing to do with the steering wheel functions.

My concern is that the button I have currently on my steering wheel is used to turn the cruise control on and off. Even though the button is different on yours, because of the adaptive cruise control, will the button still turn on and off the cruise control on mine? That is what I need to figure out. If it will still function the same, than I’d be interested in the steering wheel.

You can swap the buttons. Those are replaceable

I think the steering wheels all have the same setups behind the buttons it's a matter of what plugs into where for things like the adaptive cruise control. Shouldn't be a problem, but I have no idea how to confirm this for you.

I’ve got this same steering wheel. My car was equipped with adaptive cruise and drivers assistance package. Steering wheels still reacts when veering outside of lane but as for traffic stop/go function and adaptive cruise they does not work. The housing under the wheel wasn’t designed to be able to fit the components necessary for these functions. The right side of the wheel retained functions as normal. I rarely used the stop/go traffic jam assist and adaptive cruise functions and frankly have forgotten about them. I’ve had this wheel for over a year now. Way more exciting than the M wheel for me. Gluck with the sale!

Everything worked for me on the wheel except for the heating function. The wheel no matter what would not warm up like the stock one because the steering wheel does not have the element to keep it functioning. Went back to the stock one.
