Anyone able to get BMW Digital Key to work with the Pixel 8 or Pixel 8 pro?

On a separate note, has anyone had luck getting album art to show in their car? I tried playing with AVRCP version in Developer Settings but no dice.

Try this: go to settings, apps, find "Google play services" (I have 2 of these, one is beta), scroll down to the "App details in store", click on it and see if update is available.

I have Samsung S22U, it worked fine for 3 months, then stopped. Nothing helped ("cannot pair") until I updated play services from here. Google play store didn't show update was available, I only was able to update from settings.

After that it paired immediately.

Nope. I didn't do anything special. Just followed the instruction and it paired without a problem on first try.

Thanks for this. Unfort mine all seems up to date. Hopefully one of the next few updates addresses this issue.

Mine worked fine initially, but I had to reset the idrive system (navigation crashed) and now the 8 Pro will not connect.

Still nada here also with Pixel 8 Pro, not supported yet. People across car brands are complaining; Polestar forum, BMW, Hyundai, etc.

Looked at the release notes for December security update and the big December feature drop and no mention of it in there, but other bugs are (21+ bugs), new AI features, etc. Hoping its included and just not mentioned but haven't got the update yet - rolling out over next couple weeks in waves. If you get and works, report back!
