G87 M2 CS latest details: production dates, equipment, auto transmission

Added some info on M2 CS to the Future BMW Models Info Thread.

M2 CS details:
- In production 08/25-07/26
- Will get the wheels off the big brother CS/CSLs, carbon roof, bucket seats, alcantara steering wheel as standard
- Automatic transmission only.

I feel like I’m in an Apple forum where everyone is guessing what’s coming. Until you hear it from M GmbH it’s just speculation.

And, as speculated before, no manual.

So, lucky those that want a manual and can afford the money asked. To me, it’s worthless

No matter how ruined it’ll be, people will love it regardless. Kinda like when BMW M finally implemented their AWD system into the M5 and now people can’t drive them M without it.

It’s been like this for a very long time you know. Since the E46 if not earlier. I agree it is frustrating they hold back little things that aren’t big cost adds, but that’s just the way it is. The 240i owners probably think they should get some of the M goodies.

Can’t wait…will be amazing. Everyone said the F87CS wasn’t worth $25k increase over F87 M2C but that’s the only F87 that anyone talks about now and look at how much value it’s holding.

Happy to stick with my base manual G87 that has an alacantara steering wheel and bucket seats.

I’m on the list for the CS, but I’d only take it if there were substantial suspension and steering upgrades

I am first on my dealer list for the M2CS, fact is the M2 6-spd was a back-up till we got the info on the CS just in case the 6-spd was dropped... But, I really, really like my manual M2 with the M-Sport suspension... didn't want the carbon buckets, nor the AWD... so after the M4 CSL strut brace, forged wheels, CarBahn tune and a few other goodies, I think I've got what suits me...Now if they put a DCT 6-spd tranny in.....

I'm happy that this model is coming... but I'm also super happy with my G87. Manual & RWD is why I bought it and I'll probably never sell it.
