Didn't try after upgrading to iOS, will try today. I am already on 13.1.2, so I guess issue may have been resolved.

I have been outside USA (Ecuador, Greece, Turkey) and only this morning was I able to drive my G05.

The BV app on my iPhone and iPad were updated and I can connect to the BV with no problems.

I've been having the same problem as you. I fiddled around a bit and can't get it going yet. I'm not sure if it's a iOS issue or something else. I have tried disabling the wi-fi assist and playing around with the location setting for the BV app but still nothing. let me know if you figure it out and I'll do the same as well.

Had the same issue last night. I couldn't find the BV forum page where I got the fix but apparently IOS13 requires that the location services is on.

Open the BV app and select BV cloud. Logout if you are using it. Click on the cross hair circle within the map. The app should pop up something about enabling location service. Select "while using app".

After this it started working again for me.

The temporary fix is available under the app's News - "IOS 13, 13.1 Wi-Fi Connectivity Temporary Fix".

Version 2.97 is out (2 days ago per app) which fixed the same WiFi compatibility issue with ios13. That must be where Xeno updated to.

Don't know if it will help but you guys should use z44 in the front fuse 31 and Z2*2b in the rear fuse 2 and ground z10 in the front.

This is what BMW use to install the bmw advance car eye on G05.

I will install myself the BlackVue DR750S-2CH with power magic pro

Did you manage to find a way to get the wires from the inside of the car to the outside of the chassis (towards the flexible rubber hose)?

I watched the DIY from barrowdad and he had to enlarge the hole to get the USB cable through. I'm going to install my 2ch dashcam soon but want to avoid having to drill holes in my car.

Anyone else found a good location to store the batterypack? I don't want to install it on top of the car battery (right rear fuse box).

Yes, take speaker penal down and pull down the head liner a little. Facing to the rear from inside the trunk. You should see a bundle of wire through the gasket that has enough room to push dashcam wire through.

Thanks a lot, will use that instead of drilling holes.

I had my battery pack installed in the rear cargo fuse box. It can easily fit at least 2 and easier to work with.

But it’s standing on top or the car battery right? Or is it only the 45e that has it’s battery in that location? In my f15, that was the spot I had my dashcam battery.

Sorry, didn't know you have 45e. My 40i has plenty of space in there. How about on the other side compartment?

Yes there is more space on the other side, but I would have to cross from right to left. I don’t want to remove the floor panels since the high voltage battery is underneath. I might be able to go via the ceiling/roof.

Does parking mode not kick in right away? I tried hard wiring mine in and keep thinking I did incorrectly but I remember the power stays on for like 10mins afterwards. Is that the issue?

That is correct. The switched fuses have delays (I timed about 10 minutes also) before they power off completely.
