Got them from IND. Good bunch of guys. I had the option of matte finish or gloss, I went with gloss.

I have done grill swaps before and left scratches where they slide out on other cars. Better to be safe and tape that area.

I also want to add while the install is still fresh. Tolerances with this grill is excellent. So good it might be better than the oem grill. That said, it slides in tighter and the gaps on the sides are smaller. Getting the camera in is very tight and a bit finicky. When it’s in, it’s centered and aimed correctly.. I checked it’s alignment. The actual grill material is black plastic with a black high gloss paint. I scratched a bit on the inside and the scratches still remained black so I would believe it’s black all the way through. It’s as good as you could ever expect with a black grill on the front of a missile. I gave mine a P21 waxing and it was as glossy as the oem shadowline trim. Shipping time was unbelievably fast at only 24 hours for international shipping.
I am highly satisfied with the quality and it’s worth of being on a new BMW. I would give anyone waiting the “go for it” recommendation. I could see this grill being $200 more for what it is and how well it fits.

Notice the side gloss to the shadow line around the windows. It all looks perfectly matched and oem.

Those will Carbon Black happy with how it looks? I'm still contemplating. BMW parts department said they were told by BMW would be end of summer or sometime in the fall for their OEM black grill.

I was originally thinking of ordering the body colored ones (Carbon Black) from IND but then saw a few folks here with the black ones and fell in love. One of the best decision I made and you won't regret it.

Yup, it matches the rest of the shadowline trim and front air intakes perfectly to the point it should have been like that originally. Shadowline trim usually includes a black matching grill for a complete package look as shown above on the 850i.

Go for it. It’s worthy, especially for the price. I look at it as it’s so cheap that I would just replace it if it took a few big rock chips in a few years. It sure polishes up nice and you can see it's shrink wrapped to keep its finish perfect in shipping.

I need to order it tonight. I wasn't joking about having a list of stuff to order. I bought a OP 7 Pro today (I like having a backup phone) and some today bits for my car like more leather conditioner, towels, soap etc I haven't gotten down to the grill yet
