I think they just didn't start it until late in the day, they told me they needed 2 more hours late afternoon then cleaning the car etc that could grab it tomorrow.

so, Im 'way behind??

My G05 software is dated nov 2018, so I need to talk to the dealer, I guess. I just joined this forum and have had the car a couple of months. I got what I thought was a good deal on a loaner ..or actually my wifw did.

UPDATE: So had the car in for the missing apps. It took the dealer to open a ticket with the connected drive IT team. they had to fix some setting on the backend server that tells the system my car is authorized to have the apps or something to that effect. Anyway, I now have Experience Mode, Caring Car and Personal Assistant. Also have the Climate Control where you can set the seat heat or air to come on automatically below or above certain temperature.

Still do not have the driving assistant view so i guess that is reserved for 2020 models.

not as yet but i am going to call yhe dealer next week and try for the latest update. will let you know how i go.

Nope but I asked my retailer to do the software upgrade and they upgraded it to .53 but not sure .55 is available in Canada

Gave the car to dealer for s/w update last week and specifically asked to install 07/2019.55

Got it today with version 07/2019.53 ��*♂️

No caring car , experience modes

I just had mine updated to 07/2019.55 today. The car was with the dealer the whole day but the actual job took just over an hour, with below recalls:

1. Control units, rear view camera, SA B663319
2. Dual storage system, SA B611319
3. Software quality update, SA B651919

The windshield, wheel and tire were also inspected. I have no idea what they did for #1 and #2.

I can't tell if everything is working as I only got it end of the day but I had to delete my current phones and re-paired. ConnectedDrive still works (noticed new options in Data Privacy settings).

Updated today at Westside BMW Brisbane to 07/2019.55. It took about 45 minutes plus a service they brought forward. I have had it back for about an hour and no issues yet (fingers crossed). It seems more responsive then the 11.2018.49 I was on.

I rang them a week ago and asked for it. Today was the earliest I had time to drop the car off. I would try them again. They were really helpful. When I rang I told them the software version I was after. They said they would give me the latest they had. Good luck.
