The X6 is one of those cars that has some nice angles but is ruined by some awkward overstyled bits, notably the weird grille and tail lights.

People hate on the GLE coupe but it's a much more handsome car, and I know the redesign will be even better.

I see the pics now! I like very much, I would agree X6M comp looks a bit better. But that is just my take. Can't wait for the config!

Does anyone know what the sunroof is like on the X6M? Is it a standard sunroof or a big sky roof like the X5M?

The X6 always has the standsrd sunroof as the slope-y roofline doesn't allow it to have a panoramic sunroof like the X5. However I would hope that they would at least add the sky-lounge in the X6, even on a smaller sunroof

I agree to some extent but does a Cayenne Turbo look more different to a series car? Maybe once you are the size of SUV/SAVs you can't do such things are flared wheel arches as the car is wide enough already.

I agree but much less Porsche on the road the x5's are a dime a dozen, a m3 is far different than a 3 series

I can't reconcile in my brain that I really LIKE the X6M - way more than the X5M. The color, the wheels, even the interior - just spectacular.

Couple of Questions

Anyone know when dealers will start taking orders and will it be a 2020 or 2021 when it’s released next year?

Supposedly first deliveries in December.

Both are very nicely executed as expected! Good choice of colors too.

Why the move away from the more centered exhaust? Towing? Or just for the sake of change?

I love your enthusiasm but Alpina's never come with a V12. It's gonna be the 4.4. V8 massaged to well over 600hp.

Pricing is tough to swallow. They kind of follow M5 price guidelines.
when M3 goes up 10K from similar packaged M340. for 10 K you get 100Hp bump and tighter suspension.

M5 and x5 competition go up 30K for the same 100 HP bump and tighter suspension.

but with M3 and M5 you have a possibility to use those cars as dual purpose - track /street.
Not so with X5/x6.

Utility also suffers - no tow hitch on M cars - have to go aftermarket.
Weight is significant as well.

One can build well equipped x6 M50 for 95K
M X6 com with similar packages is 125K
30 K is a lot of money
lease will go up 1000 a month

so now people are paying 1000-1100 a month fro M50s

M cars are going to be 2100-2500 since residual s and incentives are going to suffer.

I'm pretty sure orders can be taken in December and deliveries will begin April 2020, as a 2020 model.

Does anyone know if the new 115K SAV includes a Blu-ray optical drive for the ridiculously overpriced non touch screen "entertainment" package? Or does it play obsolete DVD discs like the F85/86? Ridiculous...

Hoping the F95 comp has urban green availability to order, as I'm leaning towards this color.

For all you comparing the X M50 to the X5M (F95) there will be no comparison, as the price premium is worth it. Previously, I had a F15 50i M sport with DHP, when I moved onto the F85, it's a night and day difference-- worth the price of admission that BMW charges.

Haters will always be haters, as I'm excited for my F85 replacement with a F95 (is 625 hp confirmed for the US market comp, as the BMW Press Kit mentions 617hp probable for ex-USA markets).
