Wow, absolutely gorgeous! Can I ask who you worked with on the wheels? The offset is perfect. I have a MBB on order and am contemplating BC Forged wheels. Thanks!!

Please post exact specs.. wheel model / size / offsets / tires / spacers if any / suspension (approx lowering), etc.. this will help members who are interested in getting aftermarket wheels make their decision easier

any wheel manufacturers building to order dont publish the offsets. If you order them, they'll know exactly what to put on your car, and usually tell you which tires they'd recommend.

That's why i asked the "owner" if they could publish this info..the idea is to share different fitment specs with fellow forum members so those considering aftermarket set up's can be aware of different fitments and choose what they like better for their vehicle based on pictures forum members post making their decision process easier.

There is really no need to ask MFR to suggest them if you already know the specs that work since its same chassis car... before finalizing order you could ask MFR regarding caliper to spoke clearance depending on concaveness/spoke design.. but, for F95/96 chassis and those who have aftermarket wheels i have yet to see one where caliper clearance is even remotely an issue..

As a side note, I've had plenty of custom set up's and share my info with anyone who asks specifically for reasons mentioned above.

Is there aby difference between the factory rims 809 M and 818 M? I mean weight, or that one of them are forged?

Tell me about it ... I was so impressed today seeing them in the flesh. The quality is amazing, and they are SO light, i could pick them up with 1 finger.

I joked to the dealer that i should order a 5th wheel for the wall of my office ... to replace the art that is hanging there with some REAL art!

^ those HREs look sexy. What model?

I have a set of R101LWs in satin black on my m3, and I've been wondering how they'd look on my x5. (In x5 spec of course)

thanks, i'm pleased with the look, and the quality. the steering also feels noticeably lighter too.

they are P101SC model:

https://www.hrewheels.com/wheels/series-p1sc/p101sc

... i looked at a few designs, but some weren;t available either in 22s all round, or for SUVs. overall i'm happy with the choice, which at this price point is a relief!

Incredible. You and Alan both have great taste with your MBB X5M's. HRE's just set them off completely. Congrats and enjoy.

thanks, i'm really pleased as i was a bit nervous about Brushed Clear rather than Brushed Dark Clear (kind of a gun-metal finish which would be my normal choice). i just felt this MBB colour and the lighter wheel colour go well together, and Alan's car confirmed it. still, we're all individuals & what works for you might not for me, plus sometimes photos vs real life can lead to disappointment!

the tyres are Pirelli PZero. 295/30/22F & 315/30/R

When I saw the pics of the wheels on the carpet, I thought "that's Delroy's shop". Then you posted the pics outside and confirmed it

Del is a good friend of mine. He's a top guy.

Del is a good friend of mine. He's a top guy.

what am i thinking .. haven't given credit to Del & his team for a 1st class customer experience!

Del's company is Prestige Wheel Centre - the HRE UK distributor, based in Birmingham:

https://www.instagram.com/prestigewheelcentre/

it's been a pleasure to deal with Del & Laura - great service, knowledge, easy to talk to and get advice from, no pushy sales patter, and email support with lots of questions answered patiently ... 10/10 experience.

Del sent me his own pics that he took with his super-duper camera (mine were just iPhone 11 pics!), so will be loading those to his social media soon i imagine.

i'll be seeing Del again hopefully next week as the Akra kit was shipped July 29th ... the final piece in the jigsaw! glad to have Del & his team to support me during this journey towards building my 'ultimate X5MC'
