2024 X5M LCI - Order accepted

UPDATE: My SA got back to me and said the car is scheduled for production for mid-April and so they might get the car to the dealership by mid May, hopefully that stays true.

As far as the wheels, my SA said that the only black wheels for the X5M are the 809M, which is also what shows in MyGarage for my build.
This is strange since none of the press fotos or the cars that were unveiled had those wheels. But those appeared to be non-US spec cars. Maybe this is a US only wheel?

I’m confused. so what wheels are pictured in your garage now? the old 809M ones? (before the build sheet error)

I am just as confused. The ones pictured in my garage show the 818M, but the my garage spec shows 809M (including the network request which you can see in the network inspector) and my SA also confirmed that the only black wheels are the 809.

I guess we might need to wait until the configurator is online to be sure or BMW releases an updated pricing guide.

I've modded my X5MC to just how I want it ... but thought I would see what a 2023 LCI model with a similar spec would cost ... £10k more!

(US members can comment on our UK ridiculous sales tax ("VAT")!)

What you're hearing is odd. Looking at multiple international configurators, the only all-black wheel offered anywhere is the 818M multi-spoke, which is the one shown in all of the press release material. It's also available in machined face. The 809M is only shown in machined face everywhere I looked (just like pre-LCI). An all-black 809M would be something new, and honestly something I'm not interested in. Hopefully a bright face 809M remains like is shown in the order guide.

F12 Shows a prod date of 4/12, ahead of schedule! Maybe I'll get lucky and get the car by the end of next month? Located in the Bay Area, so about 2 weeks from production date to dealer?

When was your original production week scheduled for? Week 13?

Production Begins does not mean assembly has started. but rather that a VIN has been assigned and parts ordered/allocated. This occurs about two weeks prior to the production date. Actual assembly takes less than a day.

I picked up mine yesterday (Houston); production date was April 18th, so took about a week to get here after it was built.
