Selling my set of powder coated black 818M wheels and tires! They are lightly used and have some marks on them but I am super picky. From 2 feet away they are flawless. They are on a nearly new set of Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires. All tires have just under 8/32nds. Wheels come with tires, TPMS, center caps, and valve stem caps. Local pickup preferred but willing to ship at buyers expense. I have shipped wheels/tires before so know the process. Fronts are ~69lbs and rears are ~73lbs. Send me your zip and I can give you a discounted quote. I have eBay and past forum purchases/sales references if needed. Asking: $SOLD but I'm open to offers! Please let me know if I am way off on price but I have not seen a set like this sold before and they are on basically new Michelins. Located in Charlotte, NC. A little hard to decipher between blemishes and reflections from the floor. You may want to try some pictures with the wheels laying flat so there are no reflections. The 818m are always in demand- these should go quickly with clearer pictures.

Thanks! I agree, the floor is reflecting on the bottom half of the wheels so it’s kind of hard to see. I would be more than happy to send additional pictures or a video to anyone interested in them.

Hi Vinny. I've been on the lookout for a set of 818's. But curious about the powder-coating. Can it be reversed back to stock finish? Thx.

I’m honestly not 100% sure but I know in general, wheel faces can be re-machined easily at a wheel repair or powder coat shop. It may be worth a call to a local shop to see if it can be done. They would likely just remove a few mils of the powder coat and metal and then clearcoat the whole wheel. Anyone else have experience with this?

it can be done, but some times you get some lines from the late machine, if you are very picky you noticed the lines, also this wheels have a smoke clear tint, I actually like the black color TBH they look great

Additional photos added. Black is hard to get good pictures of but I can email close ups or video to anyone interested. These are not freshly powder coated nor brand new. They are used so there is some minor wear on the finish (tiny chips, scratches, etc) but from a few feet away you can’t see any of the blemishes.
A fresh powder coat in any color you want will run about $700 if you want them to be minty fresh! |
