the MyBMW app doesn’t have any interplay with Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. the app is its own interface. CP and AA connect your smartphone to the vehicle.
you can refer to Driver’s Guide app for your vehicle owner’s manual. lots of good info there I recommend reading first. post here if you have additional questions or problems Last edited by nZtiZia; 01-31-2023 at 06:58 AM.. |

One thing to mention it's only android auto wireless so you need to set it up wirelessly!
Also can you send a picture of your BMW apps screen from iDrive, the left hand menu? It should say installed apps, apple car play and android auto. I'll post a pick if you can find the right screen |

Do you have AA installed on your phone? Download it from playstore for starters.

do you want the vehicle to connect to your home wifi network? this is not possible. do you want to connect wifi-only devices (e.g. iPad) to the internet while traveling? if so, you’ll need to check if you have wifi hotspot for your vehicle. it might be country-dependent. check the apps screen, your build sheet or run VIN through a decoder. if you do have it, you’ll need to check which company provides the cellular service for it in Egypt. in the U.S., it’s AT&T |
