Ordered on 09/25 and received production number 10/02.
Just called genius and got production week 47. I'm now worried that it won't make it to 2022 delivery given it's gonna be holiday seasons. |

Welcome to the forum and congratulations on your order. It looks like the travel time for trains to CA are coming back to the normal two to three weeks so hopefully that will continue and you should be able to make it with a couple of weeks to spare. Let us know how things are going.

Did some more analysis on the available comments/datasets and looks like the Initial Production Week provided when Production Number is received is +5/6weeks from the current week. So that is just a best estimate. That is why you got Week 47 but folks who got Prod Num few days before you got Week 46. So this initial forecast is not set in stone. More important is when we hit 112 and ofcourse when you hit 150. The production week during those is more accurate.

I've been searching for a car for months before. Was originally gonna wait for 23 GLC PHEV but then tax credit law got changed and car was pushed to April release so ended up just having my Mercedes salesman get me a x5 45e order. No discounts. Still get tax credit if your car delivers before Jan 1st so I'm happy with that.

Received an October allocation and my production week number today. Good thing I'm right in Charlotte, NC and my dealership is in Greenville SC, so its a very short jump from the factory to the dealership, so once its built it should be a quick delivery.

Also just hit scheduled for production, hope it holds. Earlier this week Genius told me I was scheduled for week 47 but that it may move around since it's Thanksgiving week.
