That must be new, I haven't head of ether tracking the train. Generally you have to get the BOL from the dealer and then call the Norfolk Southern automated line to get the last scan location of the railcar

BMW genius hotline was able to get train transit information for me. They just need the last 7 characters of the VIN or your production number.

That is good, they must have just started that. As of a few months ago they would/could not give out any information.

Just called BMW Genius line, and apparently they are able to share a lot of info. They told me each stop of the train, and estimated delivery date to the final location which is super helpful for understanding when approximately the one can take delivery

That is good to hear. Hopefully once the train is moving they will be able to give you the location so you can track its progress.
