We just ordered an X5 50e with what I believe to be a week 32 build date. It's Manhattan Green with Cognac Sensafin, and has the following packages: Driving Assistance Pro, M Sport, M Sport Pro, Parking Assistance, Executive, Climate Comfort, and Multi-contour seats. We got to test out a 50e with almost identical specs for the past 24 hours, and were really impressed! My wife is upgrading from a 2021 X5 40i that is similarly optioned.

Is Dravit considered to be an individual item?

It is still noted as Individual in the pricing guide and in the past items that had that notation triggered the last change date. I would think that is still the case.

Changed color to Skyscraper today after a side by side comparo over the weekend. My wife likes Sky over Dravit. Gotta allow her some input after all.
Anyway I called Genius this evening and still at week 32 and Genius went further to give me a production date of 8/7/23??

I don't believe they can see the actual production date until you hit 150, but 8/7/23 happens to be the first day of week 32 so they probably just told you that was the prod date

I probably would have done the same thing. Dravit just looks off to me. I guess I'm used to paint that has that shinier look to it and Dravit looks like a darker version of Brooklyn Grey to me. These are both beautiful colors, but just not my preference.

But don't listen to me.. I ended up ordering Blue Ridge Mountain Metallic, LOL.

Dravit looks spectacular in certain lighting but I think it’s the gold metallic specs that show up in sunlight that makes it look “off”. Color is really a matter of personal preference.

I wasn't able to get any more than 4% off my 50e order, and even that was a battle with the dealer

4.3% on a M60i at $102,395 MSRP. This’ll be my 3rd transaction with this dealer since 2017.

I had to go out of Pittsburgh to get anything over 2%. Plus dealer ad ons + fees makes me wonder if they really want to sell a X5 or not. Rhaul, P&W, A&L and Swickley were all within $100 of each other on MSRP 2% discount. Zero negotiation. I got deal similar net deal to a 7% MSRP discount + $499 dealer fee + $599 broker fee on a order from a CA dealer without going through a broker.

I hear you , I did some of that on a bunch of cars in the past, different brands , but the delta was much bigger as the cars were much more expensive
also the trip to get the car cost money
just went with my son to Philadelphia to pick up his car a week ago
M240 xi as there was none in our area
between the tolls and gas I bet the cost was may be couple hundred dollars and we did it in one day , so it was pain in the butt. The dealer refused shipping the car as they worry about Identity theft
to me to go out of town , the delta has to be at least 5 k plus
also , for people that don't know , dealer fees vary by state , for example in PA maximum is 449 , in Virginia and Georgia is 995 which is 500 dollars more
so that eat into savings

Yep, good points especially on the dealer fees. Try dealers in Florida where its the wild wild west for fees. I was getting quotes of $1,200 Dealer fee when I was shopping for an used M850.

Shopping around for my new X5 beyond Pittsburgh, even the BMW dealer in adjacent state of Maryland gave me a bigger 3.2% MSRP discount, but all fees and ad-ons fees like illogical $20 lien fee, even though I was buying for cash, were all mandatory. Rockv _ _le dealer in Maryland put mandatory 3 YR Appearance Package $639; mandatory 3 YR Dent Protection $639; Doc Fee $499; License Fee $187; Title Fee $100 and (4) other F-U fees. Killed the extra MSRP discount versus what I was getting within 100 miles of Pittsburgh.

Believe it or not, California limits documentation fees to $85. So a invoice +$500 works out to be close to a 7% off + $499 doc + $599 broker fee deal.

So yes, focus on bottom line out the door price is right way to go. In my case, I decided to do the BMW Performance Center Delivery program as a mini-vacation and so delivery expense was not a focus, therefore I could buy from anywhere that gave me the best out the door price.

I had 8TR - Decoding Additional Functions for mine, but that's because I did an actual Individual color (Java Green), which caused the automatic lane change assistance to be removed.

Edit:
Apparently there is 8TR - Decoding Additional Functions, 8TT - Decoding Additional Functions II, and 8TU - Decoding Additional Functions III from what little research I did. What I read on Reddit it's something to do with 5AU, and also states it removes lane change assistance.

Hi all, it’s been a minute since I lurked the forums. I’ll join the week 32 group

I ordered a ‘24 X5 M60i on 6/30. Replacing my ‘21 M50i - Got a production number right away and called the genius today and confirmed week 32. This will be my 3rd build and 4th bmw from the same dealer. Very happy with the numbers and specced it moderately.

Finally getting a gray/silver color , chose skyscraper.

Looking forward to following everyone’s updates.

Exciting times once again!

I sure hope it doesn't remove lane change assist! I wonder if its something to do with certain exterior colors?
