Absolutely love my M50i but I put a lot of miles on my vehicles and my extended warranty will be up soon. My 4th ride from this dealer and they made it too good of a deal to pass it up. Time for an LCI refresh! We are just a day apart, but I am in Colorado so will be a minute for delivery. No rush. I’ll post pics when I pickup.

Following up on the process……I sold my Cayenne today. Private party purchase. He got a great car at a good price and I got several thousand more than trade value. Win win for both of us. My 8/10 production date can’t come soon enuf.

Looks like production is going well. I went 150 status "Production Begins" last Monday July 24th and was given production date of Monday August 7th. Also my BMW salesman requested PCD that afternoon. Just rechecked using F12 for the third time today, long wait and nothing better to do, and now changed to Saturday the 5th of August for production!
On Monday July 24th my salesperson received acknowledgement of the delivery request from the PCD Center "...we wanted to let you know that it may take us up to ten business days (Monday – Friday), from the date of this email, to process your request. Once we have processed your reservation request, we will send another email with additional information...". Haven't heard a thing from the PCD on scheduling yet. For scheduling, I hope they give me several dates to chose from. |

After your post, I checked on mine and it moved up as well. From Sunday the 6th to Friday 4th. For now, I am a day ahead ... Regarding PCD: Similar to yours. Waiting for scheduling ... |

It is with some degree of sadness that within the hour I’ll watch this baby pull out of my driveway being driven by a new owner. She's been a great source of enjoyment. Now I’ll obsess over my M60i with a production date of 08/10.

I'm also eagerly awaiting my X5. Went into production on 7/27 and upon browsing this awesome thread yesterday, I learned about the F12 trick. Seems like its going to be 8/11!

Originally was 8/6, then 8/4 and now it’s on the assembly line. Seems that the night shift is working it.
Hopefully it will finish quick and uneventful. I know at least two others had a 8/4 and wish that yours is moving along as well. Still have to wait for a PCD appointment to be scheduled. So could be still a few weeks for me. |

I called Genius and the next steps seems to be delivery to Greer Processing Center (estimated 2 days). Genius tranferred me to Performance Delivery Center. Sometimes next week scheduling will contact CA with options. It could be between 2 to 6 weeks. It’s driven by the sequence the request was received. In my case it seems my CA submitted request late, so you might get an earlier date. It seems a long time knowing the vehicle is ready. Will keep you posted. |

Seems like some early week 32's are already assembled and awaiting shipment. Good for y'all. I’m jealous. Hopefully my 8/9 production will move up a few days. Fortunately I’m just down the road from Spartanburg. I’m not doing PCD so I’ll be inthe driver’s seat soon. My wife wants to know what I’m gonna obsess over next month? 🤩

Ha! I’ll look for a cheaper obsession. I never say never but it’s unlikely that a EV will ever grace the doors of my garage. Our charging infrastructure is woefully inadequate.

Actually the infrastructure is not that great anywhere. Heck places like CA that is forcing electric vehicles has to tell owners not to charge them due to black outs. We all saw how bad things were in Texas during the ice storm a couple years ago. Plus then this year TESLA vehicles here in the NE would not accept a charge because of the cold. It's a long road ahead and that is the reason I'll never go all electric and continue to have the best of both gas/electric with a hybrid.

I imagine one could copy and paste or take a screenshot and attach it.
