Week 39 Build

I ordered a new X5 M60i on August 24th. I've been incessantly checking myBMW and had been at 112 for the past 10 days or so. I checked myBMW this afternoon, and moved to 150 with scheduled production date of 9/27. I can't wait to take delivery early October.

Very nice build! Yours is slightly different from mine.......I went with the blue calipers and Silverstone Sensafin interior. I'm week 43 build at this time.

Nice build. I was really torn between red and blue calipers. The prominence of the red tail lights ultimately swayed my decision.

I was torn also between the red and blue calipers, but decided to go for the slightly understated look. I think either color should look great behind the 742M wheels. I'm jealous, my order was placed 4 days after yours and i'm 4 weeks behind you!

My dealer had 3 M60i allocations available for build at the time when I placed my order. Interestingly, it seems as though all of their allocations are customer sold orders. They did not have a single new X5 in inventory when I stopped in earlier this week, but did have a couple of XMs.

I am 9/26 as well. But then have to wait for 10/26 PCD.

Same, mine changed from 9/27 to 9/25 yesterday. I'll take it since it pushed back a week earlier this month.

Mine changed to entering assembly line Saturday, but no movement since.

Edit: At quality check after I typed the above out.

Woohoo - mine finished up over the weekend as well! Now I’m just second guessing the PCD… Oct 23 can’t come soon enough.

Wow. Your prod date must have moved fwd. Mine is today 9/25, and has already moved through "external assembly" and "paint booth" since checking last night. Currently "entering assembly line".

Well, now the question is how long until it gets to the dealer. I really hope it's here by Friday, because I'm going to do nothing but drive all weekend.

Hmm. Still in QC. Probably nothing, but can't help but be a little worried. This seems to be the biggest x-factor in the production schedule.

Hate to see that you got held up in QC. I'm awaiting carrier assignment. Kept hoping that would progress today. Still holding out hope for a delivery before the end of the week given the short distance.
