Any deal that includes a trade is not an accurate deal for comp purposes.
Frankly, I'm not sure why anyone would trade in a car to a BMW dealer. You're getting low balled. And if you're not, it means they could have just done that much better on discount from the car your're buying. Even Carmax will give more than a BMW dealer. Leases can skew discount comps as well. The only way to truly compare discounts is for finance and cash purchases with no trade. |

Given the scarcity of 50i's, you would think the discount would be less. However, many people order the cars. I bet almost any dealer is willing to give the same % discount on a new order regardless of engine size. |

I got 7% off MSRP or $4,577 on a $67,635 car and ordered what WE want. Damn happy with that. BMW and USAA rebates of 2,500 on top of that. Then there is the net $866 BMW CCA rebate. On the road before the BMW CCA rebate - $44,536. Quote:

You did get a nice deal, congrats. But I disagree on the point and you did likely leave money on the table by combining everything into one deal. |

This is the deal I received on 12/24
2019 x5 40i MSRP $73680 (this vehicle had the leather and gesture control credit) - 4420 (6% discount) -------- $69260 - 1000 (BMW loyalty) - 2000 (BMW finance) --------- $66260 - 863 (BMWCCA after membership fee) --------- $65397 ( total of 11.25% off MSRP) also received very fair trade in on 2018 X3 M40i of $52000 |

I got 8% off MSRP in California bay area on 12-21-2018. Custom order. Cash deal. No trade-in. I had numerous other offers between 7% and 8% off. I did most of my negotiating over email with the Internet Sales Managers from the dealerships and made sure to mention I have been following the quotes people were getting through online BMW forums.

Thanks for the January info. It's frustrating that my dealer is only doing $4250 on the '18 40e and $1k loyalty. They have several in stock but not as malleable on price as I think they should be at this point.
Looking like I'll be waiting for the 45e... |

I can pay cash too. Chose to finance the minimum amount which is only $7,500 that can be paid off after the 3rd installment. It's a no brainer - $2,000 rebate.

Not sure but I think the NA credit is if you're paying cash or using alternate financing instead of BMW FS.
