Moving shift lever to S1 mode
Hi,
I understand the sport individual settings. but what exactly is changing when I shift my lever to the left and is shows S1 through S whatever when automatically shifting? Is this an equivalent of simply changing the transmission mode from comfort to sporty, OR does this combine other aspects like transmission and engine throttle response? X5 M50i |

shifting the lever to the left affects transmission only (refer to manual, pictured). in my observation, I can be in Hybrid drive mode and shift the gear lever left, and it stays in Hybrid drive mode, not Sport

The transmission behavior you get from moving the shifter to the left cannot be replicated from any drive mode. |
