MSRP VS Destination Fees Credit.
Assuming this is asked or answered multiple times. I just had a call with dealer he keeps asking me to check with my CPA if Destination is included as part of the MSRP for the CAP.
Can someone advise who has already claimed Credit without including destination. |

The MSRP does not include the destination and handling charge. No one has claimed the credit yet with the MSRP rules since they only started 1/1/23.

I recently went round and round with my dealer about this topic. The sales manager did not want to provide me with the tax document because he kept insisting my $80,520 total with destination charge did not qualify.
Finally emailed him the link below and the document appeared in a few minutes. https://www.irs.gov/credits-deductio...-2023-or-after
