Hi all! Was curious what the interior looks like at night with the ambient lighting. It seems like there’s a little less than last year’s model, replacing the straight light across the front with the “X5” lights on the dash.

I’m not in love with the x5 signage. Wish there was a way to turn that piece off.

Yeah I saw this video but he just focuses on the X5 signage. Was hoping for a photo or video that shows the entire front

Those are from my X6 LCI with sky lounge LEDs. Hope this helps.

That pissed me off, they removed quite a bit. The pre-Lci had a beautiful ambient light design and the Lci not only lost it in a couple places, but also made some smaller in size like on the center console.
Oh well, at least aliexpress will come to the rescue and make things right.

Agreed, my '21 X5 M50i had nicer ambient lighting effects :-(

Yeah, it’ll change with the rest of the colors. They call them funky things but green, blue, red, purple, etc. all there.

Pre-LCI definitely looked more high end. The LCI is ruined by that stupid bit on the passenger dash.

I have the 2024 x5m comp; how do I get the ambient lighting on the sunroof ? I see it everywhere else but not on the ceiling. Is there some option to turn it on ? Yes I do have the premium package that includes the sky lounge pan sunroof

Im not aware of it having a separate setting at least in mines (21), have you checked the settings ?

Question: I ordered a 2024 50e with executive package and comfort seats.

Will it have ambient lights in the seat backs? My 21 X5 doesn't have it.

Illumination in the backs of the front seats appears when the panoramic sky lounge roof is ordered.

It’s part of the executive package not premium package.
