Just curious, why on earth would you turn off seat belt reminders?

OMG, why??!!?? so many reasons. It's the first thing I code off, then the AS/S

As far as why, I'm an adult and I can remember to wear seatbelt. no.2 it's an annoying loud sound. and finally there are times I don't wear a seat belt for short moves of vehicle, ie moving cars around driveway or parking lots. Plain and simple turn that shit off.

I always wear my seatbelt, but my dog doesn't. However, she's heavy enough to trigger the seatbelt warning, and moves around enough to re-trigger it multiple times after it goes off. VERY annoying.

The BimmerCode website says that adapters marked with "G Series" are required to fully code G series cars. The Veepeak BLE only indicates F series. Are you using it on your G05?

Yes I coded the A.S.S. on my G05 with a Veepeak BLE.

As far as I know the alarm doesn’t sound if backseat passengers are not wearing their seatbelt.

The ASS and Alarm sound can be coded with F series adapters but to code the ACSM you will need the MX+ or UniCarScan.

I turn off passenger chime because my bag sets off sensor. I leave dash indicator.

When i drop my kid off at school, and she unbuckles, it just beeps endlessly until the door opens. Going to turn off passenger seatbelt warning with bimmercode and see if that affects the back seat too.

UPDATE: No more backseat seatbelt beeping! Still get warning in dashboard which is good.

For BimmerCode on the G05, so far this is what is available to change:

Driver and Passenger Seatbelt Warnings
Auto StartStop
Alarm Sound and Confirmation sound configuration (volume, frequency, duration)
I'm using ODBLink MX+

Excited for more - really hoping i can get this thing to default to Adaptive mode on startup. Also would love to adjust the seat ventilation if at all possible.

Sounds like everybody is having great success w/ BimmerCode.

I tried the BimmerCode app and it said "preparing coding" for 20 minutes, so I stopped it. Figured something was wrong. For those that have used this app to code the ASS function on a G05, how long did it take after you pressed "Code"? Using OBDlink MS+.

My X5 was delivered first week of april. Could it be that my car has a new software version preventing it from working?

Thanks in advance!

I had that same issue. I disconnected the OBD2 and rebooted everything and tried again and it worked. Also follow the recommendations around airplane mode and carplay. When it works right or only takes about 5-10s

What is the recommendation about CarPlay and airplane mode that you are talking about? Also does the car need to be put in the diagnostics mode before connecting the obd mx?

Just got around to trying this today and I can't access any of the ECUs that the website says are now supported. Using a UniCarSys adapter. Has anyone been able to do this yet?

I just coded the power tailgate to close using the remote and by the drivers door. It worked! I did notice when closing from inside the drivers door, their is an audible sound i’m guessing as to warn trunk is about to close. I've seen that on Acura MDX also. I didn't want to do the others as I'm taking it in on Wednesday to get software updated and I'm sure it will just erase what I just coded.
I'm using Veapeak.

I contacted Stephan Gauch, the maker of Bimmercode, earlier today and he immediately responded that he'll have an update out this coming week to address the indicated but missing functions.
