Door Projector Swap to LCI X6
Random, but picked up my LCI X6 this week and was attempting to install the door projector lights that were on my 2020 8GC with no luck. The BMW product says it should fit both. Anyone else experience this?

Did you ever get this to work? I’ve got the same problem, moved projector from my m8 to x6m and it wont fit.

I replaced the door projectors from my 2020 8GC to my LCI X6, I used a dremel to remove some of the molding in the door(s) with no problem.

I just purchased a 2024 X5 40i (first BMW) and picked up a set of the LED projectors yesterday (looks to be compatible with year/model). However, when I went to install them this afternoon, I could not get them to fit. The back of the housing will not clear the opening when I try to push it in with the side with the wiring inserted first. Sounds like this may be an issue with the LCIs? I hate to start dremeling on a brand new car. Here is a pic of the projectors that I purchased. Is this the same part/size (68mm) you all are trying to install?
