Floor liners for x5?
Should I get the all weather floor mats, or the all weather floor liners from BMW? Currently using weathertech for second row and cargo liner, but having trouble deciding between OEM front floor mats. Thoughts?

I opted for the Maxipider 3D mats. Note, while they do have a lip around them, they don't have the channels the others do for meltwater to accumulate in, so that may be an issue, as the channels help keep your shoes above that slush in the channels. I do think they look better, and through the first winter, accumulated water wasn't a problem. Now, if I was in/out of the vehicle numerous times on a trip with lots of snow that could be tracked in, I might feel differently.

I have the 3D Maxpider in both my BMWs. The only thing I don't like is the logo, which I put up with. Otherwise, I love the material as it feels nice under your feet and isn't slippery. Got tired of the faded plastic, slipperiness and cheap feeling of Weathertech after running them for several years in many different vehicles.

The back side of the Maxipider mats make them stay in place easily, but are still easy to remove if you want to wash them off. They also come in more colors than the OEM ones (similar to WeatherTech), at least at what BMWUSA stocks (there are more colors in other countries), so if black isn't your current carpet color, you're stuck with black if you go with OEM ones, at least that I've seen unless you want to import OEM ones from somewhere else.

This is what I did on my 45e: WeatherTech liners and cargo mat with custom-designed labels. Very happy with them!

My wife elected to go with oem all weathers. We really like them except for the strange packaging design requiring you to snip off the excess rubber up top.
We got the cargo mat and the extra mat thingy to protect the door that opens downward too. We got 10% off at our local dealership…found slightly cheaper ones online, but shipping would put it over…not sure how the other guy got 20%. Jelly! |

Went with OEM all weather mats and cargo liner.
Dealer gave me a 20% discount for buying when I took delivery of my vehicle.
