Dead battery on device plugged into USB

New to this site. Just to let you know.
Recently, I had a problem with the driver's side window, seat massager and some other control buttons in driver's side door not functioning in my 2022 X5 45e.
I also have an iPod that stays plugged into the main USB port. After not driving the vehicle for a couple of days, the iPod's battery had apparently depleted. This was the cause of the driver's side door buttons not functioning. When I charged up the iPod, voila, all the non-functioning buttons were instantly restored to full functionality.
Who could have possibly expected that having a dead device on the USB port could cause the door buttons not to function?
Wired Wierd..
So, if this ever happens to you, look no further than the device on your USB port.
