I called BMW genius and they do not have the VIN number. Production is scheduled for mid May, that is an estimate from them.

They won't have a VIN, that will not be assigned until you hit Production Begins which will be about two weeks prior to your production week. Hopefully your dealer will tell you the same week.

I received my status from the dealer. They are "guessing" a late March or early April build time frame. Who knows... It is frustrating, BMW owes its customers some information. They have all of our email addresses, so a simple email apologizing for the delay and giving us the new build scheduled would certainly be helpful.

It is the dealer's job to keep customers informed, not BMW's. Unfortunately many do a terrible job of that. As supply and production slots are available they are scheduling builds. We continue to have some being scheduled for MY24 and now the MY25's are being scheduled.

Then you must be at 111 and not 105.

Unlikely that is the case. 105's don't have production weeks associated with them. Did you confirm using the "F12" process? Where are you getting the 105 from?

i have a dealers screen grab from yesterday showing 105. Now that could have changed since yesterday the MY changed to 2025 over night

Mine status was also changed today from 105 to 111 and model year was changed to MY25. Ordered on December 18 with Priority 1. I called Genius today and I have been told that my production week is 18( April 29 to May 4). Fingers crossed)

Never mind , yes i changed back to status 111. Looks like BMW was rearranging or catching up on the builds over the last day.
I'm being told no changes to the car, but have seen several videos showing some changes like new heads lights etc.

There are no changes to the vehicle. What you may be seeing is that the 552’s are now standard rather than optional.

My mid December order has updated to 111 too, with a Week 18 production. Hopefully they have it all figured out.

I too had my status changed from 105 to 111 and MY year was updated from 2024 to 2025. I will call the BMW Genius tomorrow to get a further status on the production week.

So I had a break today and called genius.

Sounds like those of us who ordered in Dec (I had my order on the 16th) were all given a week 18 production (April 29th - May 3rd).

Looking at the previous posts, week 18 to 20 for the 105s!

Keeping my fingers and toes crossed.
