2021 X5 extended warranty?

Lease is ending soon on my 2021 X5 X40i and I will be buying it out. I'm undecided on buying an extended warranty, which is available for up to an additional 3 years (up to 100,000km). I haven't had any real issues with the car so far. I'm also being offered a 2-year service plan.

Any thoughts on if these are worth it or if there are things I should consider? Thanks!

They rarely make sense from a financial point of view. Where some folks get value from them is in knowing that is something that is covered breaks they won't have to pay for the repair.
