No first kit in US. It is an requirement at least in some part of Europe, such as Germany. So if you want, you have to buy. But then for the same money, you can get better kit without bmw branding.

Thanks for confirming. I have a Mercedes C300 which came with the kit. Wanted to make sure if I missed for my X5. Will definitely buy a kit. Of course non bmw brand. Thanks again.

Have you opened the door and look further inside?

My first-aid kit was stuck all the way down - towards the floor.

I checked all the way. I see only black thermocol. Is your US X5?

Some dealers include various things with your purchase that aren't part of the vehicle from the factory for US customers. In Germany, you're required to have a warning triangle and a first aid kit, as you are also required to stop and offer aid if you come across an accident.

Even my $30K Xterra came wth a $5 first aid kit. No problem - pack a roll of Gorilla tape - sticks better than Band-Aids (lol).

Gorilla tapes are one solution for multiple problems

Weird, I had the BMW dealer do a $150 oil/filter service on my 15YO M3 recently and they gave me a brand new first aid kit when I picked it up. It was a No Charge line item on the bill so it’s definitely still a thing.

My 2024 did not include one but it would have been a nice touch. Some of my previous vehicles had them included and I appreciated it.

Like previous poster said, it is required in UK/Europe and optional in US. I am from US and was wondering if everyone in US gets it. But it looks like a hit or miss.
