Front Caliper - Auto Hold
Never have experienced this...
The closest brake related that has occurred from coming out of a parked position and turning/accelerating is a burst brake line...but that's a whole different story.. While pulling out of a parked streetside, just simply steering wheel turned right and slowly accelerating, the brakes were engaging on/off without my foot on the brake. Pressed on brake, then let off and it was still *engaging/pulsating on/off*. Auto Hold was not engaged. Turn the car off and on like a bad computer.....and the symptom went away. Anyone have a idea what occurred. Last edited by chefwong; 08-16-2023 at 05:23 PM.. |

. Ok, I first thought the same as tooloud10 but re-read your description and this is what came to mine when you said you restarted and all was ok. Just like a bad puter |

I could not duplicate it if I had to
It was basically pulsating full stops I'll have to check my settings but I have front and rear *on*, but intervention in both spots turned off.... Can't recall what the side collision option is, but it's still on....although I'm not a fan of it...One time, I was just gunning it between 2 tractor trailers so I wouldn't be in between them at a measly 45-50 and side collision kicked in, when you're just simply going straight and faster than the trailer aft left and right of you. |
